I receive daily motivation messages from McNabs. The title of this post is the message for today and I agree with it fully.
We are all so busy watching the clock that we forget to live. Being organised helps, but sometimes even that can become an obsession and we need to sit still and breath.
In the last few weeks I have moved, from my previous home and from my job of 9 and a bit years, and I am happy. I don’t know what the future holds but I know it will be a huge adventure and I am looking forward to that.
Sometimes the only way for us to wake up and move on is to receive a shock of some kind. Whether it be illness, ourselves or a loved one, or a financial crisis. As human beings we keep going until a road block forces us to to take stock and re-evaluate our current journey. We are creatures of habit and keep pushing on regardless sometimes, we don’t stop to think about what it is we hope to achieve from our lives, from our journey.
I challenge you today…
STOP! BREATH! Where do you truly want to be? What do you truly want to do? Yes, our circumstances may hinder us from following our dreams sometimes but take small steps to change yourself and your surroundings. It is really never too late.
